Case is in good shape, with a new crystal, though it does have what I presume to be little screwdriver scratching at the top-presumably from novice trying open case and not realizing was screw back snap back some point past. A very rare and collectible Ball 999H pocket watch in a gold filled case. The Damasking is in great shape and all of the jewels are intact their gold settings. Dial is clean though with a little chipping at the setting lever.

Winds and sets smoothly, Hands are in excellent shape. Replaced a broken screw in the winding pinion bridge with another original. This watch has a low production, and this is very late example with the patent changed hairspring stud/holder system, instead of standard Hamilton one they originally came as well motor barrel typical going. Only 8100 of these watches were made, and only a small number the later ones have both motor barrel alternate Ball hairspring stud holder.
