Movement is damaskeened and in good shape appearance. I have the back screw on cover loose since threads need to be cleaned and don't want over tighten it - etching therefore is not aligned should once. The crown winds well and the pendant set works. Both the bezel and back cover secure well to frame.

This watch is an antique and being sold as described based on my experience a collector. The 10k gold filled Bates and Bacon case is in good condition - it structurally sound with typical wear tear. The bow is loose and the pendant crown are in good shape structurally. USA open face mens pocket watch was manufactured around 1922 and is in good condition.

There is a pretty etching on the back cover and good looking rope pattern around frame. As with most antique and vintage timepieces this watch should be cleaned, serviced / or repaired. No chips in the crystal detected. There are no major dents.

This 9 jewel, size 16 watch winds, sets and runs well see video for performance, servicing will optimize operation accuracy. This South Bend Watch Co. The dial is in great condition and needs to be cleaned.
