I put in a new battery and it did not run. The case opens and closes as it should. Westclox Quartz Pocket Watch For Parts Repair Gold Tone w/ Chain Japan Movement. The watch takes battery SR621.

This is a vintage Westclox brand quartz movement pocket watch with chain for parts or repair. The inside is marked by maker, WX117 Japan Movement VX07 China. I removed the old battery but it is in packaging. No monogram in space for one on front.

The dial has an interesting silver tone checkered pattern.
