It does not come with a box or manuals and the chain is not original to the watch. This a discontinued watch and is in like new condition. This watch was given as a to commemorate my 22 years of active service on five surface combatant ships.
After 24 hrs the movement starts to slow down a little causing about a 1/2 minute time loss over the next 24 hrs. The Steinhausen task v collection is breathtaking on every level. But nothing detracts from the overall looks. Forged with modern technology and ingenuity, the Steinhausen task collection combines old world class with new world craftsmanship.
You start with a handsome all metal case that opens on a stunning butterfly hinge, providing you with 360 degrees of timepiece perfection. The outer case may have a few minor scratches from normal wear and tear of riding in a pocket for a few hours every few months.
Now time has come to pass it on to a new home. This watch retailed for close to 600 when new and if it can be found on retail sites like or half. The face crystal is clean, clear, fully attached, and has no scratches.
It was only worn on special occasions like my wedding, and wife's birthday anniversary dinners. This is a mechanical wind watch, but it had never been over wound, and it keeps accurate time for 24 hrs. No detail is lost on the task v collection.
