The date on the watch puts it plunk in the middle of the war years, 1945, sold as is. Vintage 47mm Paul Ditisheim 15 jewel time only pocket watch, this was presented to Antonio misapply on or for meritorious action, since this is a German made watch, i'm assuming this guy was fighting in the Spanish civil war on the side that was being backed by Hitler the only documentation is what is written on the watch case and what I could find on the net, which wan't much, maybe you can find out more on this guy and what he did, frankly I don't have the time to do the research needed to verify.
