As said above you can carry it however one needs to remember Its almost 70 years old watch that requires some care. Movement: Very Good. Hands: Very good. Movement went through a complete overhaul: cleaned, oiled and regulated.

Rest assured everything is in good order with this watch as you are buying from a watchmaker. Breitling-Wakmann listed here checks all boxes as a collectable: its original case, dial, hands. Just a cost of service and restoration would be more than half the asking price. If you are here chances know what looking at, but just in case let me provide a short.

Original hands with original painting are straight and true. Vallejo's 5 is also original with a few minor parts, like mainspring, being replaced to preserve the accuracy and reliability of clockworks. While its pretty old, the movement is completely restored, it keeps decent time with a power reserve over 45 hours. Case: Very Good.

Chronograph functions well: sets, runs, stops and resets. A few minor scratches and dings. The watch keeps good timing. Just serviced, shows some minor wear but runs great.

Crystal Excellent. The movement cal. Acrylic crystal is clear with minimal wear. In fact you can carry it on occasion.
