The bezel is tarnished in a few areas that are highlighted the pictures but not as apparent to naked eye. This watch is an antique and being sold as described based on my experience a collector. The bow is loose and the pendant crown are in good shape structurally. USA size 12 open face case mens pocket watch was manufactured around 1918 and is in good condition.

As with most antique and vintage timepieces this watch should be cleaned, serviced / or repaired. Movement is damaskeened and in good shape appearance. The dial is in good condition with hairline fractures between 2 and 4. This South Bend Watch Co.

No chips in the crystal detected. The South Bend gold filled case is in good condition - it structurally sound with typical wear and tear. There is a pretty floral etching on the back cover that in good shape. There are a couple of tiny dents in the back cover, and inside it is tarnished.
