Up for sale is a scarce 1964 Olympics year model SEIKO Basketball Time Stopwatch, number 88-5069, carefully tested as being in full working condition, and good cosmetic condition. All crown and button operated functions are working properly. Please refer to all photos gauge the cosmetic condition. Seiko produced a special series of 1000 stopwatches and timers specialized types for official sports timekeeping at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

This model 88-5069 stopwatch is one of those types, and was specifically designed for official timing application the 30 Second Rule in Olympic Basketball matches. I've done my best to photograph the crystal and case at multiple angles. This model of Seiko stopwatch was designed specifically for use at the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Basketball Games. The case shows a few light scratches and small spots of oxidation.

The dial is in excellent condition, with no apparent flaws. The case has some scratches and oxidation. All functions have been tested and confirmed as being in good working order: The Windup, Start, Pause, Resume, Stop all work properly. The crystal is clear, but there are a few small scratches which somewhat difficult to see without close-up inspection.

The pusher buttons and winding crown work properly. The watch winds fully, has a good power reserve, and keeps time.
