Movement is damaskeened and in good shape appearance. This Elgin National Watch Co. It is in fair condition with tarnishing throughout. As with most antique and vintage timepieces this watch should be cleaned, serviced / or repaired.

The crystal has a few minor chips around the edge. 15 jewel size 18 open face mens pocket watch was manufactured around 1900 and is not running. I don't have an opinion whether the movement can be restored. The winding mechanism and pendant set do not work.

The covers secure to the case fine but are finicky and need adjustment thread well. Also study the video and photos, which may have been enhanced to show timepieces beauty. The single sunk dial is in good condition except for some chips and cracks under the bezel. Challenge case could be gold filled per PWDB but looks to plated.

The bow, crown and pendant are structurally fine but tarnished. The North American Watch Co. The video and photos are the best evidence of watch's details performance take precedence over unintentional errors omissions in narrative. This watch is antique or vintage and being sold as described based on my experience a collector.
