Both the front and back screw back covers fit tightly will move more freely with servicing. The watch winds, sets, runs and keeps time well. Dial is single sunk and in good condition, with two hairline fractures between the seconds hand 2 - 3; there a tiny chip 12 1 that's covered by bezel. The bow and pendant are in good shape.

No chips in the crystal are detected. Pocket watch was manufactured around 1901 and is in excellent condition. As with most vintage timepieces this watch should be serviced. This Elgin National Watch Co.

The 10k gold filled case is in excellent shape with typical wear and tear - there are no major dents as may appear the pictures. The crown winds and sets well, is somewhat tight. Lever set works fine. Movement is damaskeened and in excellent shape.
