This Elgin National Watch Co. The back display cover is somewhat cloudy. The bow is loose and the pendant crown are in good shape structurally. The video and photos are the best evidence of watch's details performance take precedence over unintentional errors omissions in narrative.

Movement is damaskeened and in good shape appearance. As with most antique and vintage timepieces this watch should be cleaned, serviced and / or repaired. 15 jewel size 16 open face mens pocket watch was manufactured around 1898 and runs intermittently. I don't have an opinion whether the movement can be restored - please see video to watch run then stop.

There is one chip in the crystal at 6. This watch is antique or vintage and being sold as described based on my experience a collector. The salesman's display case is in good condition - it structurally sound with typical wear and tear. Also study the video and photos, which may have been enhanced to show timepieces beauty.

The crown winding mechanism and pendant set do not work need repair. The front and back covers snap well fit snug to the frame. The dial is in fair condition with hairline fractures throughout.
