The gold plating is in good condition with some surface scratches from normal use. Watch is missing the crystal. The movement is clean, the dial hands are in great condition. I am not an expert on pocket watches.
I have also reconfirmed the listed specs with a local jeweler. The spring loaded clasp catch works but the cover doesn't. Sold as pictured. Hinge lines up nicely and works great but does not catch clasp to close should just be an adjustment from what a jeweler told me.
