The front and back covers fit snugly to the frame. As with most antique and vintage timepieces this watch should be cleaned, serviced and / or repaired. The video and photos are Thebes evidence of the watch's details performance, take precedence over unintentional errors I have in narrative. Size 18 sidewinder open face mens pocket watch was manufactured around 1896 and is in excellent condition.

Note that the screw to left of balance cock is level with it. The Fays Watch Case Co. Movement is gilted and in good shape appearance. No chips in the crystal detected, and it is slightly scuffed throughout.

Ore silver case is in good condition - it structurally sound with typical wear and tear for its age. This watch is antique or vintage and being sold as described based on my experience collector. This Elgin National Watch Co. Also study the video and photos, which may have been enhanced to show the timepiece'beauty.

The bow, pendant and crown are in excellent shape structurally. The dial is in good condition with a couple of faint hairline fractures. The crown winds well and the lever set works fine.
