Review REUGE Rare Music Automated Alarm Pocket Watch
The hand painted background behind dimensional automate is quite detailed, with buildings, trees, and a beautiful pink blue tinged sunset.
The Swiss made movement is 17 jewels. Two hounds are at his feet, and the Lady's basket of fruit is next to pump. Micron gold plated case in the Louis xvi style. There is also an alarm feature the musical mechanism was produced by Reuge music of sainted-Crux switzerland.
Quite a lot of detail in such petite setting. The watch is fitted with. The music is serenade - minuet ENE Klein no.
The figures are in both gold and silver colors for accent.
The case and movement are all in excellent condition. We service music boxes utilizing cylinders metallic discs. The watch is wound by crown and musical mechanism key on interior.
As the water flows, horseman raises and lowers his hand holding a falcon, horse its head to drink from fountain. The dial was designed by famed master enameler Carlo palazzi of Geneva. The automate design is called fountain and features a lady pumping water. 9 oz alarm pocket watch with music and automation.
The design on back of case was inspired by an engraving moray, painter at court Louis xvi and Marie Antoinette, featuring a bagpipe, lute, tambourine.
