The front and back screwback covers thread fine to close but require cleaning work more freely. The magnified pictures of the back cover show a brown hue that is reflection from wear and tear dirt - it not as apparent on watch in. The crown is in good condition and winds sets well both clockwise counterclockwise. This Elgin Natl Watch Co.
The Philadelphia Watch Case Co. Silverode case is structurally sound with typical wear and tear - there are no major dents as may appear in the pictures. Also study any videos and / or photos message me with questions. The dial is single sunk with an ornate design, fancy hands and five second intervals around the outer ring.
No chips detected in the crystal. As with most antique and vintage timepieces this watch should be cleaned, serviced / or repaired. USA open face doctors pocket watch was manufactured around 1929 and is in fair condition. This watch is being sold as described based on my experience a collector.
The bow is loose and the pendant in good shape. The movement is damaskeened and in good shape. It winds and sets fine but runs intermittently - see video for performance. The dial is in fair condition - there are several hairline fractures, mostly on the right side of dial, and a large chip at 4.
