The watch winds, sets and runs fine - see video for performance. It is tarnished in some areas. This watch is being sold as described based on my experience a collector. As with most antique and vintage timepieces this watch should be cleaned, serviced / or repaired.

This Elgin Natl. It needs a good cleaning - screwback threads for both the front cover and back are tight to maneuver will work better after cleaned. The dial is in fair condition with several hairline fractures the sundial and around 5 - 7. USA size 12 open face case mens pocket watch was manufactured around 1919 and is in good condition.

The bow is loose and the pendant crown are in good shape structurally. 10k gold filled case is in good condition - it structurally sound with typical wear and tear. The engraving on the back of case is well worn.
