Antique Liverpool 1800s Pocket Watch by J.OS. Johnstone in 18k Gold

Step back in time with this exquisite antique Liverpool pocket watch, crafted by the renowned J.OS. Johnstone in the 1820-1830 era. This timepiece, made primarily of 18k gold, showcases the rich history and intricate detailing of the 19th century.

The watch case, measuring approximately 50mm in diameter, is encased in 18k gold, providing a lustrous and timeless appearance. The watch face, protected by a finely engraved gold bezel, features an intricate design of Roman numerals and decorative motifs, adding to its antique charm.

The watch face is powered by a fine-tuned 19th-century mechanical movement, which is visible through the transparent case back. The movement, with its intricate gears and components, is a testament to the craftsmanship and engineering prowess of the time.

The pocket watch comes with an original 18k gold chain, which can be adjusted to fit comfortably around the waist. The chain features ornate links and a clasp, all crafted from the same 18k gold as the watch case.

The watch glass is made of mineral crystal, providing excellent clarity and protection from scratches and impacts. The glass is secured to the watch case with a bezel that is intricately engraved, adding to the overall aesthetic appeal of the timepiece.

This antique Liverpool pocket watch by J.OS. Johnstone is more than just a timekeeping device; it's a piece of history that can be worn and appreciated. Its intricate design, superior craftsmanship, and rich gold finish make it a true collectible and a stunning addition to any antique collection.
