The case back has completely detached but will snap shut, as pictured. This item does not include box, papers, booklet's, etc. All screws and jewels appear to be in good condition. The case is completely hand engraved with line detailing, scroll work, flowers, and one side has a village scene.

Due to age there is no guarantee of time accuracy on antique vintage watches. The inside case is stamped 8141412. The inside back cover is stamped 8141412. The dial has very light hairlines near four and is in otherwise good condition.

Stem wind and set. Do not hesitate to reach out with questions. Due to the high polished areas on this item, it is nearly impossible get photos without reflections. No guarantee of future performance.

Missing crystal. This watch is running. This Elgin is a great project piece. The nickel movement is stamped Elgin - USA 15 Jewels 16747783.

The case overall has a patina, small dents and average wear. The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals, a red five minute track with Arabic blue light spade hands, single sunk seconds register at six o'clock, and is marked Elgin. The front and dust cover hinges open, close secure properly. The inside dust cover is stamped Windsor - Guaranteed 20 Years B.W.C.CO.
