No chips in the crystal detected. The latch front cover and notch back snap well. There are no visible dents in the outer case, and dust cover is slightly warped. The crown stem is too tight for me to test the setting, but likely sets fine with servicing.

Movement is damaskeened and in good shape. The watch winds, runs and keeps time well. This Elgin USA hunter case women's pocket watch was manufactured around 1911 and is in good condition. The dial is enamel single sunk, and in great shape with no visible hairline fractures.

The is case structurally sound. The case hinges are in good shape, as the bow and pendant. The Dubber 10k gold filled case has a fancy etched monogram theme that is in great condition. The inner side of the dust cover is damaskeened.

Adept use of a pocket watch knife is needed to open the dust cover. As with most vintage timepieces this watch should be serviced.
