Dial is single sunk and in excellent condition, with a few small chips covered by the bezel. The front and back covers are snap closures secure to the frame well. No chips in the crystal are detected. The crown winds and sets well - it is slightly loose.

This watch is being sold as described based on my experience a collector. Also study any videos and / or photos message me with questions. The bow and pendant are in great shape. The back display cover requires skill and / or experience to open close.

The case is a salesman's display with back cover bezel and crystal to the movement. If you are not experienced with display cases consider engaging a watch technician to assist this. This Elgin Natl. Movements appearance is excellent.

The base metal case is in excellent shape with typical wear and tear - there are no major dents as may appear the pictures. USA size 18, 15 jewel sidewinder pocket watch was manufactured around 1910 and is in excellent condition. The lever sets fine. As with most antique and vintage timepieces this watch should be cleaned, serviced and/or repaired.
