This Elgin Natl. The Star Watch Case Co. Open face base metal case is in good condition - it structurally sound with typical wear and tear. No chips in the crystal detected.

There is some tarnishing. This watch is antique and being sold as described based on my experience a collector. The bow, pendant and crown are in good shape structurally. As with most antique and vintage timepieces this watch should be cleaned, serviced / or repaired.

The dial is in excellent condition with no hairline fractures detected. USA size 16 open face case mens pocket watch was manufactured around 1910 and is in good condition. Movement is damaskeened and in good shape appearance. The 7 jewel watch winds, sets and runs well - see video for performance, servicing will optimize operation.

The crown winds well and the pendant set works.
