The case is a salesmans display presumably made of base metal, with crystal over the back side watch to see movement. This watch is antique and being sold as described based on my experience a collector. This South Bend Watch Co. Movement is two toned damaskeen and in good shape appearance.
It is structurally sound with typical wear and tear. The bow, pendant and crown are structurally sound. There are no chips detected in either crystal. There is an attractive corrugated design around the frame.
As with most antique and vintage timepieces this watch should be cleaned, serviced / or repaired. The front and back snap covers are snug work well with a good pocket watch knife.
