It is a beautiful watch - my pictures do not it justice. It also have a slight yellow hue, and the beige / gold dial matches it very nicely. 14k white gold filled Elfin - Tuvalu case is in good condition it is structurally sound with typical wear and tear denting as previously mentioned. The bow, crown and pendant are in good shape structurally.
There is a monogram on the back cover. Size 12 open face mens' pocket watch was manufactured around 1924 and is ingot condition. There is an attractive rope etching on the frame and a diamond / paisley bezel back cover ring. The crown winding mechanism and pendant set operate well.
The front and back cover threads require cleaning / or adjustment to secure the frame properly. No chips in the crystal detected. Movement is damaskeened and in good shape appearance. If you desire to restore it optimum working condition at your cost, please consult with a pocket watch technician prior buying.
As with most antique and vintage timepieces this watch should be cleaned, serviced and / or repaired. The dial appears to be metal, is double sunk and in excellent condition with typical wear tear. This South Bend Watch Co. This watch is antique and being sold as described based on my experience a collector.
I would describe it as in excellent condition except for the threading of covers and minor dents back cover.
